How much does an animated video cost?

What's the typical turnaround time? How long does it take to create an animated video?
While some basic animation projects with a hard deadline can be completed in as few as 48 hours, a single minute of animation can take two weeks to a month on average. There are several stages to an animation project including writing the script, creating the storyboard, doing an art test, recording a voiceover, creating the rough animation, audio editing and sound effects, doing the final animation (including lip sync if appropriate). The complexity of each of those steps and how quickly our clients get back to us with feedback determine how long the project takes.
